Meet Megan
Megan Van Patten likes to learn and make things.
Over the last 12+ years, Megan has served B2C, B2B, government, and nonprofit organizations. Her roles have focused on strategy and writing, collaborating with stakeholders and creative teams to develop brand identities, content marketing, product launches, and sales enablement.
Her career began in the ad agency realm, where she fulfilled the hybrid role of strategist-copywriter, often participating in primary and secondary research phases. Transitioning in-house, Megan’s role often expanded (voluntarily or by request) beyond corporate marketing to help additional teams like Product UX, Human Resources, and Investor Relations.
Never one to shy away from asking questions, Megan is very skilled at digging up valuable insights to simplify the complex. She is not very good, however, at remembering to save work files for her portfolio. Womp, womp.
Originally from the DC area, Megan has lived in Denver, Colorado for nearly 10 years with her husband and their dingo doggo, Willow. She is passionate about advocating for youth literacy, environmental sustainability, and human rights for all identities.
When she isn’t reading or writing, Megan can be found in her garden, destroying egos in a board game, or traveling around this beautiful planet.
